Cookie Policy
This policy explains how Audience Vertex Pte. Ltd. uses cookies and similar technologies on audiencevertex.life, your choices and how this relates to Singapore's PDPA. Last updated 2 July 2026.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help the site function, remember preferences or — with your consent — understand how visitors use pages. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage and pixel tags. In this policy, “cookies” refers to cookies and comparable tools unless stated otherwise.
2. Who operates this site?
Audience Vertex Pte. Ltd. (UEN 202518372M), 152 Beach Road #14-05 Gateway East, Singapore 189721. Privacy contact: [email protected]. See our Privacy Policy for broader data handling.
3. How we use cookies — overview
We group cookies into categories:
- Essential (strictly necessary) — required for basic site operation and security. These do not require consent under typical PDPA interpretations because the site cannot function without them.
- Analytics (optional) — help us measure traffic and page performance. Set only if you accept analytics via our cookie banner or customise preferences.
We do not use advertising or social media retargeting cookies on this corporate website as of the last updated date above. If that changes, we will update this policy and request consent where required.
4. Cookie categories in detail
4.1 Essential cookies
These cookies enable core functionality such as storing your cookie consent choice so the banner does not reappear on every visit.
- av_cookie_consent (first-party, local storage) — Stores your cookie preference (accept all, reject all, or analytics on/off). Retention: 6 months. Purpose: compliance and user choice.
- Session / security cookies (first-party, if deployed by hosting) — May be used by our hosting infrastructure for load balancing or bot protection. Retention: session or short-term. Purpose: security and availability.
4.2 Analytics cookies (consent required)
If you click “Accept all” or enable analytics in “Customise”, we may load analytics scripts that place cookies or use local identifiers to collect aggregated usage data — pages viewed, approximate geography, device type, referral source and time on site. We use this to improve content and navigation, not to sell data.
- Google Analytics (third-party vendor: Google LLC) — Common cookies include
_ga,_ga_*,_gid. Purpose: distinguish users and sessions for statistical reporting. Typical retention: up to 24 months for_ga, 24 hours for_gid, subject to Google's policies. Data may be processed in the United States or other Google data centre locations. Google's privacy information: policies.google.com/privacy.
If analytics is rejected, these cookies are not set by our consent manager implementation in /js/main.js.
5. Vendors and third parties
Third parties that may process data via cookies on this site (when consented or as essential infrastructure):
- Google LLC — Analytics (optional). Opt-out tools: Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on; manage ads at adssettings.google.com.
- Hosting / CDN provider — Essential logs and security (provider depends on deployment). Data processed under contract with Audience Vertex.
- Google Fonts — Typography is loaded from Google servers when you visit the Site; this may involve your IP address being sent to Google. See Google’s privacy policy. We do not use fonts cookies for tracking purposes.
We do not control third-party cookies entirely. Review vendor policies for additional detail.
6. Your choices — opt out and manage consent
When you first visit audiencevertex.life, a banner offers:
- Accept all — essential plus analytics cookies
- Reject all — essential only
- Customise — choose analytics on or off while keeping essential cookies
Your choice is stored for six months in local storage, then you will be asked again. To change your mind before expiry, clear site data for audiencevertex.life in your browser settings or delete local storage keys — the banner will reappear on next visit.
Browser controls: most browsers let you block or delete all cookies. Blocking essential cookies may break consent memory or security features. Use browser help documentation for Chrome, Firefox, Safari or Edge.
Analytics opt-out: reject analytics in our banner, use the Google opt-out add-on linked above, or enable “Do Not Track” / Global Privacy Control — we honour configured consent states in our script where technically feasible.
Questions: email [email protected].
7. Legal basis (PDPA)
Essential cookies support legitimate interests in operating a secure, functional website. Analytics cookies rely on your consent obtained through the banner, consistent with Singapore PDPA expectations for collection, use and disclosure of personal data via tracking technologies. Withdrawing consent stops optional analytics loading on subsequent page views.
8. Personal data and cross-border transfer
Cookie-derived data (such as IP address and browsing events) may constitute personal data. It is handled per our Privacy Policy. Analytics vendors may transfer data outside Singapore; we take reasonable steps to ensure protection consistent with PDPA requirements.
9. Updates to this policy
We may add or remove cookies as the Site evolves. Material changes will be posted here with an updated “Last updated” date. Significant new categories (e.g. advertising pixels) will not be activated without appropriate notice and consent mechanisms.
